Yesterday my family and I traveled from Florence by train and experienced a private parmigiana Reggiano factory tour, Proscuitto de Parma tour and a tour of a balsamic vinegar factory. The whole experience was planned by nearby Italy and was superb!  My contact was Giulia,  she answered all of my questions in the planning process and was very quick to communicate all information to me. I was a bit reluctant that this was whole day experience because I did not want my children (young adults) to get bored. They are 26,23 and 17 years old. But we all had an amazing day!  Mattia our driver and tour guide was amazingly fantastic!  He was so knowledgeable and friendly!  He pointed out landmarks along the way to each stopping point and was a wealth of knowledge at each of our stops!  We had a tasting at each of our three stops and had an opportunity to purchase goods at each of the 3 factories.  If you watch Stanley Tucci’s show “Tucci in Italy”, you will feel like you’re living a day in a Stanley Tucci episode!  I would highly recommend this full day tour to anyone especially if your family loves food!  Thank you Nearby Italy and thank you Mattia for a wonderful experience for my family! We had an exceptional experience with Nearby Italy arranging our Ferrari day in Maranello. From start to finish, everything was organised perfectly. Our chauffeur collected us directly from our apartment and was incredibly professional, friendly and attentive throughout the entire day, making the experience feel seamless and stress-free. The Ferrari museum experience was fantastic, but the true highlight was driving the Ferrari California through the streets of Maranello — an unforgettable experience. We had a 10 out of 10 experience. We did this tour as a family and would definitely recommend it. Our guide, Stefania, was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. She shared many helpful tips that allowed us to continue exploring Bologna on our own afterward, which made a real difference to our day. The tour took place on a Tuesday morning following the Easter weekend, so the streets were not too crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The audio was clear and easy to follow throughout. Stefania has a very pleasant and relaxed way of guiding, making everything feel natural while still being very informative. It was clear she knows the city extremely well and went beyond our expectations. We had teenagers with us, and she managed to keep them interested the whole time, which is not easy. She was always smiling, very friendly, and answered all of our questions with care and detail.
