In just 30 minutes, live an intense experience deeply connected to the soul of Florence. Step into a historic goldsmith’s workshop in the heart of the city, where a family artisan tradition has been carried on for generations, creating unique jewelry that blends technique, culture, and Florentine art into authentic and timeless works. Here, an expert goldsmith will reveal the ancient techniques of local jewelry making, but above all, will make you the protagonist of a historical rite. You will not be a mere observer: you will be the one to hold the heavy minter’s hammer and strike the metal to create your own Florin. You will discover that this is not just an ancient coin, but a living symbol that Florentines still give today as a precious wish for graduations and important ceremonies.

You will take away with you the coin you have just minted, complete with a parchment, as an authentic lucky charm. The journey concludes in the Medici Goldsmith’s Room, where you will admire reproductions of the symbols of power of Cosimo I. Here you can take an iconic photo holding the Medici Scepter, feeling the weight of history in your hands.
