It is our idea of the “Dolce Vita.” To satisfy your every travel need, we have created two different ways to experience this day, giving you the freedom to choose between the exclusivity of a private driver or the autonomy of a self-drive itinerary.
If you desire maximum comfort, the option with a private driver begins with a convenient pick-up directly from your accommodation in Bologna. A dedicated driver will accompany you throughout the day, allowing you to enjoy the views and tastings in total relaxation, before comfortably taking you back to your hotel at the end of the tour. If, instead, you prefer to move at your own pace and love the freedom of the road, the self-drive option will allow you to reach the various stages in total autonomy with your own vehicle, following the coordinates and booking details that we will provide.
The first stop of the day will lead you to an exclusive location immersed in nature, where a rich and relaxing brunch awaits you, based on local specialties with typical cold cuts and cheeses, homemade desserts, artisanal yogurt, wine, and coffee. If the weather permits, breakfast will be served on the outdoor terrace, with a spectacular view of the Emilian vineyards.
The journey then continues to a historic family-run vinegar cellar, where authentic Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO is produced according to ancient techniques passed down through generations. Together with an expert, you will walk among the wooden barrels where the vinegar ages slowly for years. You will discover the fermentation, transfer, and refinement processes, and you will have the opportunity to participate in a vertical tasting of five different maturations of this precious product, known worldwide for its aromatic complexity.
Finally, you will reach a splendid location home to a local winery of excellence. Here, a guided tasting of three wines from Emilia-Romagna awaits you, accompanied by a platter of cold cuts, cheeses, and artisanal bread. An authentic gourmet experience, perfect for lovers of good food, great wines, and Italian traditions.
